How to get to Cueva Pintada

Gáldar, the old pre-hispanic Agaldar, is 27 Km. far from Las Palmas and 50 Km. from the international airport of Gran Canaria. People can get there through GC-2 road in the North, which has links with the whole insular road network and direct connections with La Luz port in Las Palmas and Agaete.

The Cueva Pintada Museum and Archaeological Park is located in the middle of the downtown (Audiencia, nº2, C.P. 35460), so that the interior accesses are the same that go to the historic centre. There are different cultural goods of interest, such as La Plaza de Santiago (Santiago square), El Templo de Santiago de los Caballeros (The Temple of Santiago de los Caballeros), Museo de Arte Sacra (the Sacre Art Museum), la Casa Museo Antonio Padrón (House Museum of Antonio Padrón), etc.
