According to the laws in force, the Museum is a permanent institution which, for study, educational and observation purposes, acquires, preserves, investigates, communicates and exhibits unities and collections bearing historical, artistic, scientific and technological importance or any other cultural significance.
Therefore the Museum and Archaeological Park Cueva Pintada pursues:
General services
The Museum has got informative leaflets with indications about the route in many languages. The Museum and Archaeological Park does not have architectonic barriers. It has audio-visuals in four different languages and subtitles People can have the services of cloakroom, café inside the building and a shop-book shop.
Specific services
The idea of the center is to assume and promote the investigation, maintenance and spreading aspects with some essential facilities to sort out these objectives. For it, it has a didactic room, in which an activities program will be carried out.
It will not be only at the service of the educational centers, but also for all those visitors that are interested in knowing more about their past.
It also has laboratories and a library which make possible for researchers and restorers to develop the works that will change the Cueva Pintada Museum and Archaeological Park into a center of reference in the production and spreading of the scientific knowledge.
